Daily Golf DNA is a daily golf game with one simple idea: choose the best golfer for each trait, then see how the build performs over a four-round simulation. It is built for both casual golf fans and stat-heavy players who want to understand why a score happened.

One golfer per trait

The most important rule is that each selected golfer contributes only the trait you picked him for. A golfer in the Driving slot gives you his driving profile. A golfer in the Putting slot gives you his putting profile. If you pick a famous player for Pressure, his other skills do not transfer unless you use him in those slots, and duplicate golfers are blocked.

This keeps the game from becoming a simple list of the best overall names. You are building a composite golfer. A smart build might combine one player's tee ball, another player's approach game, another player's short game, and another player's closing profile.

Scratch mode and Caddie Mode

Scratch mode is the default. It shows golfer names only, so you have to rely on your own golf knowledge. Caddie Mode shows more help: country, grades, key stat, and a short note. The underlying eligible field and scoring stay the same across both modes, but leaderboards are separated so the two experiences do not mix.

How scoring works

Your selected traits create a baseline score profile. The daily course setup applies condition multipliers, then the game runs four deterministic simulated rounds. The result includes a scorecard, finish, recap, round story, and optional simulation math. It is not live PGA scoring and it does not update with real tournament play.

What happens when you submit

Before you submit, you can edit picks by clearing a slot or choosing a different golfer. Once you submit, the build is locked for that browser and daily board. The app records the completed lineup locally, runs the simulation, and shows the final score. This one-play rule keeps the daily challenge closer to Wordle-style competition than unlimited lineup optimization.

After the result appears, the casual view shows the score, finish, scorecard, recap, and share controls. The deeper view keeps the round story and simulation math available for players who want to inspect the exact trait contributions. That way the game works for a quick daily habit and for golf fans who want to study the build.
